Summer Nights- Baseball

As promised, I'm here to talk about a more familiar summer tradition.  I hadn't actually planned to go to a baseball game while in Tokyo.  It wasn't until our recent guest suggested it, that the thought even occurred to me- but I'm so glad we went!  It was illuminating.  In some ways, going to a baseball game here was just like going to a Nats or Orioles game back home.

I'm sorry.  I had to get it out of my system.  But the thing is- summer is over now.  And you know what?  It happened really fast.  And I DID have a blast!  But the other night, I left the house wearing jeans.  People had on hoodies.  So I thought I'd spend the next few entries doing a little montage of some Tokyo summer highlights.

My last few entries have basically been cheating.  I uploaded a slew of vacation eye candy and called it writing.  So today, I thought I'd actually stop and do a bit of reflecting.

Hong Kong Eats

It's been three weeks since we went to Hong Kong, but I'm still salivating over all the good food.  There was so much eating.  I think that last day- we ate seven times.  Gluttonous?  Definitely- but what else is there to do while on vacation?  Enjoy this collection of food porn (in the order it was eaten):

I Love HK

Hong Kong was amazing!  It's a crazy, fast-paced city with funky buildings and strange smells.  We sure did cram a lot into those four short days.  Here's a little picture tour for now, with more (food!) to come later.
